Board Responsibilities

The Parks, Trees, and Recreation Advisory Board:

Advises the Laramie City Council on matters relating to acquisition of facilities for promotion and development of parks and open space within the City.
Advises the Laramie City Council on rules and regulations concerning use of parks, open space, and related facilities
Advises the recreation manager on matters relating to planning, development, and expansion of recreational areas
Makes recommendations to the recreation manager regarding programs and activities
Studies, develops, and updates comprehensive written plans for current and future park and open space development
