To file a claim with the City of Laramie, please complete the Governmental Claims Act Form and attach supporting documentation for alleged amounts, including receipts, invoices, pictures, etc. as necessary. For estimated damages, include estimates from at least two vendors.

Please note that the Governmental Claims Act Form requires notarization. For your convenience, the City Manager’s Office maintains a public notary on staff so that you may complete the notarization at the same time you submit the claim to our office.

Once the completed form is received, the City will begin processing your claim. All claims are forwarded to the Wyoming Association of Risk Management (WARM) self-insurance liability pool for processing and determination.
