RESIDENTIAL REFUSE AND LANDFILL FEES
Residential refuse and landfill fees are based on the number of kitchen units in the residence such as a single family unit, a basement rental, duplex or multiple apartments. Each kitchen unit may have no more three 20 gallon cans or two 32 gallon cans for manual refuse collection. Areas of town utilizing the automated refuse collection system will be issued a standard 96 gallon container provided by the city, for each kitchen unit. You may use the City of Laramie for your hauler or contract a private hauler if you own a residence that has three or more units.

*NEW RATES - Beginning September 1, 2009*
-Beginning September 1, 2009, all loads delivered to the Laramie Landfill will be charged the following fees:
-Noncompacted Waste - $2.25/cubic yard with a minimum entry fee of $5.00
-Compacted Waste - $8.00/cubic yard
-Persons residing outside the city limits and waste that originates outside of the city limits shall be charged at 120% of the established fee rounded up to nearest quarter dollar (.25 cent interval), or $6.00 per entry.
