City of Laramie Comprehensive Plan

12345

The Laramie Comprehensive Plan was developed with the dedicated efforts of the Citizen’s Project Advisory Team, citizen and citizen groups, as well as City and Planning Staff.  The Comprehensive Plan is a policy document that will serve as a blueprint for the future development of the City.

The Laramie Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the Laramie Planning Commission on June 13, 2007 and the Laramie City Council on August 21, 2007. Pursuant to Wyoming State Statutes, the Albany County Planning and Zoning and the Board of County Commissioners “Concurred” with the plan on May 17, 2007 and June 5, 2007, respectively. The Laramie Comprehensive Plan replaces the 1995 Land Use Element.

What is a comprehensive plan?

A comprehensive plan is an official document adopted by a government as a broad statement of public policies to guide decisions about the physical, social and economic development of a community.  Laramie's Comprehensive Plan covers all areas within the City limits, and includes a vision for the City's One Mile extraterritorial subdivision jurisdiction.
