The Unified Development Code (UDC) (Original Ordinance No. 1794) was adopted by the City Council on March 2, 2010 when an effective date of July 1, 2010. This project began in January of 2007 and featured numerous community meetings. As part of this project a special committee, the Zoning Advisory Committee (ZAC) was created. The ZAC represented a cross section of the development and included Planning Commissioners, local engineers, developers other members of the community and help address potential issues in a public forum prior to Planning Commission and the City Council.
Please see subection 15.02.060.D (Page 3 of Chapter 15.02) of the development code to see how any pending or recently approved projects are affected.
The final draft will be available for download by March 12, 2009.
