Laramie is home to more than a dozen city parks that feature a variety of amenities, including playgrounds, seasonal wading pools, jogging and biking paths, a skateboard park, and a seasonally stocked fishing pond. |

PARK INFORMATION
If you would like to RENT A PARK SHELTER, please stop by the Recreation Center and they will help you out. You may find the facility rental form to the right or on the main Parks and Recreation Page. If you require power at a shelter you must request a noise permit at the Recreation Center or send a letter making such request to "Parks and Recreation, PO Box C, Laramie, WY 82073." The restrooms in all of the City of Laramie parks are open 7 days a week during regular park hours, dawn to dusk. |

BARK BEETLE INFORMATION
The City is planning on spraying mature spruce trees in the parks and cemetery soon for bark beetle. Once spraying schedule has been set, a public service announcement will be posted in the Laramie Daily Boomerang with specific dates, times, and chemical to be used. WASHINGTON PARK WADING POOL
The wading pool at Washington Park will be open daily from 12:30 to 4:30pm, June 14th through August 21st on days when the air temperature is over 60 degrees and weather permits. |
