Welcome to the Laramie Police Department. We are a full service police department serving the City of Laramie. Located in southeastern Wyoming and home to the University of Wyoming, we have 80 employees working in various capacities. Forty-nine sworn officers function in varied roles including Patrol, Investigations, School Resource Officers, DARE, Crime Prevention, Training and Education, and Command.

Laramie is a university community located about 2 hours north of Denver, Colorado, about 30 minutes from the Snowy Range mountains, and minutes from additional outdoor activities.
